DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

The ASC PORTAL, formerly known as the Manual Request System, is a web-based application of Apayao State College (ASC) designed to provide students, faculty, and authorized personnel with convenient access to academic and administrative services.

1. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on the services you access, ASC may collect and process personal information such as your name, identification number, contact information, academic or employment-related information, and other information necessary to verify your identity and process your requests.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

ASC collects and processes your personal data for the following legitimate purposes:

  1. To process and monitor academic document requests, ID card applications, and access to student records such as schedules and enrolled grades;
  2. To facilitate faculty evaluation services;
  3. To verify the identity and eligibility of users;
  4. To generate administrative and institutional reports;
  5. To improve the services, systems, and processes of the College; and
  6. To conduct authorized research and development activities, subject to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical requirements.

3. Access and Disclosure of Personal Data

Access to your personal data shall be limited to authorized ASC personnel and other authorized parties who require such information to perform their official duties or provide legitimate services.

ASC shall not disclose your personal or sensitive personal information to unauthorized persons or entities except when such disclosure is required or permitted by law, pursuant to a lawful order, or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend the legal rights of the College.
